Andrew Woolcock, DVM, DACVIM, is the assistant dean for curriculum and professional development. He is also an associate professor of small animal internal medicine at Purdue University. While completing his residency at the University of Georiga, Dr. Woolcock also completed an interdisciplinary certificate in university teaching. Dr. Woolcock’s clinical interests include immune-mediated diseases and endocrinology. Dr. Woolcock’s research program investigates the role of oxidative stress in inflammatory diseases states of the dog and cat. In addition, Dr. Woolcock participates in the scholarship of teaching and learning, with a focused interest in mentorship of veterinary students, interns, and residents. He has published several articles and book chapters, given lectures throughout the United States and internationally, and has received several awards for teaching and mentorship in the profession.
