Invitation to Participate in Study
A veterinarian’s relationship in their community places them in a pivotal role in recognizing and
responding to situations where animal abuse may co-occur with other forms of violence in the home. It is an issue that profoundly affects individuals, families and society.
Member veterinarians are invited to participate in an important study conducted by Dr. Tom Favale,
DVM, MSW at Lincoln Memorial University’s CVM. The study’s goal is to better understand veterinarians’ awareness, confidence and knowledge about domestic violence. You may be eligible to participate in this study, which takes approximately 5-7 minutes to complete. Participation is entirely voluntary, and all responses to the Domestic Violence Awareness Survey for Veterinarians will be kept anonymous.
Dr. Favale and Lincoln Memorial University’s CVM thank all who take this opportunity to contribute to an important initiative that aims to empower veterinarians and improve the well-being of clients and
communities.
