Professional Bio
Born and raised in Detroit, I’ve always had a deep passion for animals and the well-being of my community. I earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Biological Sciences and Neuroscience from Wayne State University before pursuing my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University. With a strong interest in emergency veterinary medicine, I work overnight at an emergency animal hospital, gaining hands-on experience in critical care. Beyond clinical practice, I am deeply committed to community outreach, diversity advocacy, and business development within veterinary medicine. I currently serve as President in the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine BIPOC Club, where I help create inclusive spaces for underrepresented students. Additionally, I manage a non-profit organization, Michigan Community Street Clinic, dedicated to supporting the homeless and their pets, ensuring that pet owners in need receive essential care and resources. With plans to one day open my own veterinary hospital, I am actively expanding my business acumen through the Veterinary Business Management Association and have received my VBMA Business Certificate. I look forward to integrating my passion for medicine, leadership, and service to make a lasting impact in veterinary medicine! When I’m not working with animals, I enjoy cooking, traveling, working out, and spending time with my two tiny companions, Prince and Kj.
